Elton John and his band have added a second live appearance in Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum at Washington State University in Pullman for Mom’s Weekend on Sunday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m. View the press release.
Elton John and his band perform live at Washington State University as part of the 2008 musical tour Rocket Man • Number Ones. “We’re excited and grateful for the opportunity to present an artist of his caliber as part of Mom’s Weekend,” said Leo Udy, coliseum director. “These will be two of our largest concerts ever. Students, parents, alumni, and the surrounding communities will be talking for years about this concert experience.”
Elton John and his band, including Davey Johnstone on guitar, Guy Babylon on keyboards, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, and Nigel Olsson on drums will play his greatest hits and more recent songs from his latest release, Rocket Man • Number Ones. Elton John has sold more than 200 million records and continues adding innovative work to his repertoire of 29 consecutive Top 40 hits and 35 gold and 25 platinum albums. Rocket Man • Number Ones, released in March 2007, debuted in the Top 10 and features newly compiled and digitally mastered greatest hits spanning the first three decades of the singer-songwriter’s amazing career.

WSU students (with student ID) can reserve their special ticket-purchase options before sales are open to the public by obtaining randomly assigned wristbands at the Beasley Coliseum Box Office beginning 8:00 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24.
